DPLK BRI is a Financial Institution Pension Fund service provided by Bank BRI to help companies and individuals manage their pension funds. In this project, I was involved in the UI/UX development of DPLK BRI's digital system, which consists of five core modules.

The goal of this project was to create an intuitive and efficient dashboard tailored to the needs of users in corporate and financial environments, while ensuring compliance with design standards and industry regulations.

The project began in mid-2024 with a kick-off meeting involving all participating teams, including myself, to align on the initial planning stages. During the meeting, we discussed several key aspects:

  • Project preparation, including the required resources

  • Timeline and project phases to be executed

  • Roles and responsibilities of each team member

  • Risk mitigation strategies in case of potential challenges

  • Design concept and UX approach to be implemented

In the first phase, we focused on discussing the Business Requirements, which outlined the business scope and essential needs that the system must fulfill. The main goal of the project is to enhance the efficiency of pension fund management through a more modern and user-friendly digital platform.

  • Challenge: In some situations, I was required to complete designs within very short timeframes, such as when I had to create a 10-page mockup in 5 hours for a presentation to BRI.

  • Solution: I prioritized key features and layouts first, leveraged reusable components in Figma, and applied a sprint design approach to complete the work quickly without compromising quality.

  • Solution: I held intensive discussions with the product team to gain a clear understanding of each process, created flowcharts for menus, and conducted design iterations with feedback to ensure the design aligned with user needs and regulatory requirements.

The DPLK BRI project was a valuable experience in designing UI/UX for a complex banking environment. Despite time constraints and technical challenges, I successfully contributed to creating a more modern, efficient, and user-friendly digital dashboard for BRI administrators across Indonesia.

The success of this project came not only from great design but also from solid collaboration strategies, a deep understanding of business needs, and the ability to adapt to rapid changes.
